Chapter 1
 

It was two weeks after his father Luke Skywalker turned to evil; when he found out that his brother and sister were in considerable danger. His younger siblings were on Earth 2 and had been for most of their lives. His father gave them to his friend to take care of, that way they would be safe from the empire, he sent Eric away too, but he escaped, and came back to live his life with his mom until he was 14, old enough to be taught the force. He had stayed with his father and learned many things since he turned 14. Nothing could prepare him for what was going to happen, it was the time he had to save his  siblings from his father. Since Luke had turned to the dark side of the force, the emperor was using him to get his grasp on the twins, Eric's siblings. The night he found out he was snug in his bed when he woke up to see his cousin  Jacen shaking him...

 "I'm up, I'm up," said Eric yawning. Eric looked at him with annoyance, "What is it, Jacen?" "Eric, I've got some bad news, your dad's after the twins, and from the view screen he's half way there."  Eric jumped out of bed, and ran to the computer were his other cousin Jaina was sitting. "How'd you find this?" Eric asked. "We were looking around the galaxy, seeing if everything was still peaceful, and we just spotted it." Somehow, he didn't think it was that simple, but there was no time to question. " We've got to do something, Jaina, my sister and brother have no idea about what's going on." "Do you think you can get them before Uncle Luke does?" asked Jacen who was out of breath from running after Eric.  " I don't know, but if a ship can beat the Star Destroyer, it has to be fast."  Jacen looked at Eric with a mischievous look. "I've got an idea, follow me." Eric and Jaina ran after him as Jacen lead them to the ship pad, where he stopped by a gray sinister looking ship.  "What type of ship is that?" asked Eric.  Jaina went up to the ship," It's the shadow academy’s best ship, we stole it when they captured us." she answered. "With this ship you could definitely outrun them, and if they see you they will think that you’re on their side." Jacen added.

"That's it, great idea Jacen! Thanks," Eric said. The young Jedi looked down, "Hey, according to this map here there's an alternative route to take to Earth 2, I've got to get going guys, bye."    "Eric wait, we can go with you," Jaina said, pleadingly. "No, I need you both to stay here, not only to run things, but also to communicate with in case I need help, you can contact the alliance."  Eric replied.   "All right, but remember you are going to have to think of a way to get the kids out of there." said Jacen.   "Don't worry I've got it covered," Eric said, sounding more reassured than he was.  Then the boy jumped into the ship taking Artoo in case he needed help with the ship. Eric took off waving goodbye to his twin cousins.  "Well, let's fire up the converters, Artoo we've got a long journey to make."  Eric went to the ship's computer, and started tracking the old star destroyer, "This should help me beat the star destroyer," he thought. Jacen and Jaina watched as the ship slowly disappeared into space.

                                        Chapter 2
 

 In the star destroyer Luke Skywalker walked back and forth thinking of how to get the twins. "Sir, the emperor want's to speak with you," said the Admiral.  "On screen," a gruff
voice sounded.

The Admiral nodded, and transferred the Emperor's face from the computer, to a large
screen.  After pressing the last button, he moved the rest of the men out. The door shut
abruptly, then the sith lords began their conversation.

He watched as the face of the emperor appeared on the screen.  "Lord Skywalker,  we have a new enemy trying to stop us, he is strong, and I sense he was in your old life." "Yes, master I have felt that same disturbance, what must be done?"  The eyes of the fearless emperor turned mischievous. Many would swear that you could feel death just by looking into them. The silence passed quickly. "You my friend, must kill him." Something deep within Luke emotionally tore at his heart. He could sense his true self trying to break free.  "Have the rebels found out of our plan?" He asked, ignoring his deep feelings.

"They have no way of finding out, until it is too late that is," said the emperor with a evil cackle, "Soon, the Skywalker twins will be like us, and the rebels will be doomed. Your work here is finished my friend, keep the star destroyer on course and await my orders."   "Yes master," said Luke.

                                            Chapter 3
 

Back on the ship Eric and  Artoo were going as fast as possible to get to earth. "All right Artoo, lets turn here." The little droid plugged himself into the socket, and put the ship on automatic control. Eric turned to the computer screen that showed the star destroyer, "Were going to have to move fast," Eric said to himself. The little driod beeped in agreement.  "Artoo, see if this thing can go any faster."  Artoo went through the main computer, and adjusted the speed so that it went past light speed. The small craft went through an ile of small planets and then turned out to open space were they could go faster. But suddenly, something beeped, it was the small communication computer. Eric turned it on to see a familiar face, it was uncle Han and aunt Leia. "What are you doing out this far, and why are you in an enemy ship?" asked Leia. "It's a long story," Eric said. "The Empire is after my siblings, Shawn and Stephanie are in danger." "How do they know they are?"  His uncle asked.  "The emperor is using dad to get them," he replied. "You plan to get them back?" Leia asked in a questioning tone. "Yes," said Eric.  "How are you going to get them back, the old star destroyer is out there!!" exclaimed Han.  "Don't worry, I've got a plan, and if I get into trouble Jacen and Jaina will send a distress call." said Eric. "You be careful Eric," Leia said with worry. "I will be," Eric said reassuringly. "Good, we don't need a dead nephew," Han said dryly. Leia saw the determination in her nephew's eye and smiled, "Safe journey, Eric," she said. And they shut off their computer. Eric looked out the pilot window, and saw the star destroyer far in the distance. "This is going to need some good piloting Artoo."
 

                                             Chapter 4
 

 On the jungle moon of Yavin 4, every one was waking up and getting ready for another speech, when they got to the benches, they discovered that there was no one to give a speech. At that moment Jaina went up on stage and called for quiet. All the young Jedi looked up at them. "There has been a situation, Eric Skywalker had to leave the academy for a while, and he has left us in charge, there will be no speeches until Eric is back, but there will be assignments every day, does anyone have any questions?" said Jaina.
"What happened, why did he have to go?" some Jedi asked.  Jacen looked at Jaina," Should we tell them?" he asked. Jaina nodded. " Eric left because he had to save his younger sister and brother, they are in danger because of the empire." said Jacen.  Their young wookie friend Lowbacca howled, and the little translator droid came to life, "Master lowbacca wishes to know weather Eric will come back all right."  "Don't worry Lowie, Eric's got a good plan." said Jaina.

The whole meeting place echoed with talking. Jacen called for quiet and everyone stopped talking at once.  "Your assignment today is to practice with your lightsabers, you may go." said Jaina. Everyone went through the door and left the twins alone in the room.  Let's get to the scanning computers so we can see where Eric is," said Jacen as he walked toward the door. Jaina followed him and watched as he turned the computer on. Both of the twins gasped when they saw that Eric's ship was being pulled in by the star destroyer.

 In the ship, Eric comes closer to the star destroyer. "All right Artoo, be careful we can't
get too close to the star destroyer, hopefully they won't recognizing me!" The ship came closer and closer, "Why are we moving toward it!" Eric cried. Artoo beeped several times, and although Eric didn't know the droid's language he could tell what he was saying. Eric gulped as he looked up into the bigger ship that was opening up to let their ship in. He knew there was no way out, at least not then. "Come on Artoo, hide in here, and when the stormtroopers get out, use the computer to get help." Artoo beeped in agreement as Eric got him into hiding. Then Eric looked around for a place for him to hide, but it was too late, the ship was in the star destroyer and the stormtroopers were coming in like an army.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

                                                      Chapter 5
 

Two of the uniformed men grabbed Eric hostily, and took him out of the ship and into his father's chamber then dropped him on the ground. "We found this boy in the ship sir."  "Good, leave us," Luke Skywalker said. His father gazed at him as Eric got up and wiped dust from his outfit. Eric looked up and met his father's gaze, Eric took a big breath, and tried not to look afraid. "Well, well, I thought I sensed rebel scum. " Luke said.

Eric stayed silent, he could see anger in his father's usually calm eyes. It felt so strange to hear his father talk like an Imperial solder.  How could this have happened? "So, you’re the one who's trying to stop me!" he said.   "Maybe I am, but maybe I am not," said Eric boldly.

His father cackled and fixed his eyes upon Eric, "Brave words, from a boy who could only hurt a fly." Eric stood his ground, arms still folded with determination in his eyes. "Ya, well that's more than I can say for you!" said Eric. Luke smacked Eric hard in the face and pushed him down to the ground. "I suggest you keep your mouth shut before you get yourself killed boy! Take him to his cell !" The Stormtropers came and grabbed Eric and yanked him up by his arms, Eric's face twisted with pain as they got him up and threw him into his cell.
 
 

 The Jedi twins stared at the computer, "What are we going to do now, even if we do get help from the New Republic there will be no way to get Shawn and Stephanie before it's too late!" cried Jaina. "Hey, maybe we could get the New Republic to save the kids, after they take care of Eric, they could blow up the ship!" said Jacen.    "All right, I guess we could always try." she said. Jaina got to the computer and opened the channel to her mom, head of the New Republic. Mom, this is Jaina ,we need help immediately Eric has been caught by the star destroyer can you send people to save him?"  "Yes, I'll get on it right away,"  "Mom, wait there's something else you have to do, somebody's got to get Stephanie and Shawn before the Emperor does!" exclaimed Jacen. "All right, Jacen I will get some of the squadron to help. Don't worry everything's going to be ok."  The twins shut the computer down, and sighed glancing at the scanning computer that showed the two ships.
 
 

                                            Chapter 6
 

At the Imperial palace that belonged to Han and Leia solo both of the worked to get squadrons of New Republic fighters into space, Leia got a hold of all the fighters and explained the situation and Han made up the plan, then the fighters were on their way.

"Leia, I’m going to go to Earth 2 to get Shawn and Stephanie, and maybe Eric if he doesn't escape, we need you to stay and take care of the fleet." "All right Han, good luck." said Leia.

Eric had been unconscious for a long time before he came to and he found himself in the cell that the stormtroopers had thrown him in. He slowly got up and stretched and just as he did so two stormtroppers marched into the room followed by his dad. "Well, look who's up now!" said Luke with an evil grin. "Like you care." said Eric dismally. His father gave him a warning look, "It would be best if you act cooperative with me." he said. "You will come with me ." said Luke. Eric followed his father to a room with a dozen computers the stormtropers watched his every move.  "I want you to find where the children are..." Luke said.  "Though luck, you can find them yourself!" Eric said.  "I wouldn't push your luck Eric, this is the only reason you’re still alive, I suggest you do this for your own advantage!" Eric silently went to the computer, and sat down.

"Oh, by the way should you decide to trick me, these stormtroopers will be watching you." he said as he left the room. Eric looked around the room at the lined-up stormtroopers "Well, there goes plan a," he thought.  Eric turned to the computer about to see where his siblings were, when he got a plan. "Hey, you I can't use this computer it's broken." he said. "It's not broken." said the stormtrooper. "No, but it is now." said Eric as he ran the stormtrooper into the computer. The other stormtroopers came after him but he ducked, and the stormtroopers went flying. He took a blaster from the unconscious stormtrooper and ran to the door and blasted it, the siren was wailing, and Eric ran as fast as he could all the way back to where his ship was.

Once he got through the door there were a group of stormtroopers around the ship. "Oh, shit!" said Eric. The stormtroopers reacted quickly and  started shooting, Eric went to the other side of the ship and shot at them, using the ship as a shield. He turned around for a second and saw Artoo working at the computer on the other side of the room. A second later he  heard another siren, and saw about half of the stormtroopers leaving. "Good job Artoo," he said to himself. Eric fought the rest of the stormtroopers until most of them were dead, then he got Artoo into the ship, and jumped in after him. Eric started to drive off just before the stormtroopers and his father came in. " Too late guys! "he said with a grin. Once he got through the corridor and into space he saw many rebel

fighter ships coming in and firing at him. "This is Eric Skywalker, hold your fire!"  The ships stopped at once, "Kid, your ok!" cried Han with a happily.  "Ya, I'm ok uncle Han, but I need a little help getting to earth!" "All right Eric, we'll cover you, Han Solo out." Eric's craft swooped down in to the world, he used his scanners to find out where the kids were.  As soon as he left the star destroyer started firing and tried to go after Eric, but Han Solo led an attack against the ship,  and the star destroyer was trapped, even though the star destroyer was bigger.

Soon a battle started between the ships, and Eric turned for a split second to see escape ships going out as the star destroyer blew up. He turned on the communication system, "Thanks Uncle Han, I needed that!" he said. His uncle laughed," Any time kid!"  The ships went away, and a sad feeling came over Eric. " Even though dad's turned to evil I still hope he got out of that thing before it blew."  Artoo beeped as if he understood the feeling.
 

                                                Chapter 7

On the moon in the academy Jacen and Jaina sat on the stairs watching the birds fly in the air. "I hope Eric will be ok." said Jaina.  "Me too, hey do you want to hear a joke?" said Jacen. "Sure, why not," said Jaina rolling her eyes. "How many stormtroopers does in take to  fix an engine?" he asked. "I don't know, how many?"   "It takes 4, three to do the work, and one to shoot them and take credit for all the work." said Jacen. Jaina smiled and shook her head. One second later the twins heard a beep come from the computer, they  ran to it and saw that it was their dad. " Eric's ok, he got out of the star destroyer and he's on his way to get Shawn and Stephanie. The twins sighed with relief, "Will he be able to get out of the world and back here ok?" asked Jacen.  "You don't have to worry about that, the star destroyer got blown up." "Was Uncle Luke on it when it blew?" asked Jaina.  "I don't know kids, I'm not even sure if he was on it in the first place." said Han.  Jacen closed his eyes and concentrated, "He's alive." Jaina smiled, and so did Han, "That's great Jacen, keep watching." said Han. "I will dad." Jaina turned the communication system off, and went to the scanning computer to see where Eric was.
 

 Eric landed on the port in Minneapolis, there he could get his brother and sister, he used the force to find the addresses of the twins. It took Eric a half hour before he stopped by a tiny cottage with garden flowers, he knocked Quietly hoping that the old woman was home. The door opened and reviled a person that he vaguely remembered, it was Shawn.

"Is your mom home?" asked Eric trying not to act suspicious. "Yeah, just a sec." he said. Eric watched the young boy as he got the old woman, he could hardly believe it was him, he had sandy blond hair and green eyes that seemed to sparkle, the old woman seemed to recognize him right away. "Come on in, Eric." she smiled brightly at him, happy to finally see him after so many years. Shawn looked at the woman questionably wondering how she knew him.

Eric came in and they both sat down, "Shawn, can you go to the market for me?" she asked. " Yeah, sure Mrs. Breakas." he said with a questioning look she handed him a list and he walked out the door. "She never used to send me to the market when a guest was here," he thought.  Eric watched the young teenager walk out the door with a puzzled look on his face. " Why have you come back to get him so early, and where is Luke?" she asked.  "I'm afraid I've got some bad news, Jen, my dad's turned to evil and I have to get the twins out of here before he does."  Jen, the old woman looked at Eric in horror, "Luke, evil, I had always thought that was impossible, a man of such good composure, turn into hate!" the woman looked as if she were going to do, "Whatever you do you must get them to safety!" she said. "Don't worry Jen, I'll get them out of here, and I'd advise you to get out of here as well." he said. "All right, " she said, "I'll leave right now and

you take him to Yavin 4, if you need help to convince him use this hologram I made for him." Eric's face creased with a little confusion. Jen smiled at him, and hugged him good bye. The boy came back almost a second after, "Where's Mrs. Breakas?" he asked with a suspicious look on his face. "She went away, gone in her ship, she want's you to come with me to Yavin 4." he replied. "Why should I believe you, if I was going with you she would've told me!" he said with a tone of rudeness in his voice.

Eric put a disk into the computer, and they both watched as the image of Jen came into view.  "Shawn, you must go to the moon called Yavin 4, as you know I've been taking care of you for your father and now that you are old enough you can be with him again and you will become a Jedi, there is much to learn about your past and your future, you must trust your father and brother and go with them to Yavin 4, I will see you again, as much as I can good bye, Shawn." The image disappeared and Eric took the disk out and looked at his younger brother, "Come on Shawn, I've got to get you out of here." "Wait a minute, Jen said there should be two of you here, and how do I now if you are the right person!" Eric sighed and concentrated, using the force to make Shawn feel the bond between them. Shawn was at first frightened at the burst of energy that rushed through him." Look deep inside yourself Shawn, and you will know the truth." Shawn closed his eyes and tried to search for the truth, any clue that might tell him weather or not Eric was his brother. Shawn soon found the truth and he gasped out loud, Eric stopped and went to his brother. Shawn sat dumbfounded Eric put a hand on his shoulder and Shawn looked up, "Come on, we can't waste any more time," said Eric. Shawn pulled himself to his feet and followed Eric into the ship, still with an expression of surprise.

                                                Chapter 8
 

 After the star destroyer blew up Luke Skywalker sat in his shuttle watching Eric's ship go into the world, "Why did I leave him in that room, I should have had more stormtroppers!" he yelled as if there was some one else to hear him. He drove his shuttle away from the fight between his men and the Rebels, and used his communication system to contact the emperor.
"What news do you have Lord Skywalker ," he said. "Eric, the enemy you warned me about has won, although we captured him at one time, he has escaped and he is heading toward earth."
"The boy has out smarted you, Skwalker you will capture him once he comes out of the world with the kids, that way you will have three Jedi to go to the Shadow Academy!" " Turning Eric will be hard work, master."  "We will find ways to change his views. If he will not join us then he will die, don't fail me again lord Skywalker !" "Yes, master." said Luke, he turned off the communication system and sat back in his chair, his face was full of sadness, he knew his son would not turn and he was too soft to kill him. "What am I going to do?" he thought, he gazed down at the world that Eric disappeared into and sighed, he turned the controls and flew into a hiding place where he could not be found.

                                                     Chapter 9
 

Back on the moon Jacen and Jaina were on the stage, telling the students their exercise of the day. The room was quiet and the expression on the students faces held concern. Raynar, a student that always wore bright clothes rose his hand, "What is it Raynar," said Jacen, hoping it wasn't another stupid that the boy usually asks.

"Where is Eric, he should be here by now," asked Raynar. The students ears perked up all wanting to hear the answer. " Eric was captured by an enemy ship for a couple days, but don't worry he's o.k. and he escaped." Replied Jaina. The crowed sighed with relief, and went on eating their midday meal. The young wookie lowie and their other friend Tenal Ka came closer to the Jedi twins, Lowie growled a request and Em tede, Lowie's translator driod came to life. "Master Lowbacca wishes to ask you to tell him what happens to Master Eric, and says his well being is important to everyone in the academy." said the driod. "This is a fact," said Tenel Ka. The twins nodded in agreement, "Don't worry, Lowie, we'll keep everyone up dated." said Jacen.  The four Jedi went to a table and ate their meal, after they were done they went to the computer to check up on Eric.

                                             Chapter 10
 

After Eric started the ship and headed toward Stephanie's house  he could sense Shawn's uneasiness, he put the ship on automatic control and sat by his brother. "Shawn, I know this is all of a sudden and hard for you to understand, but you have to trust me, everything is gonna be all right." Shawn sat on the floor, holding his knees to his chest, he looked up at Eric and sighed, "You don't understand, all these years of thinking my dad was dead, or didn't want me, and I didn't even know that I had a brother. Everything about my past and family is blank, I'm not even sure who I am, or where I came from." Eric put an understanding hand on his shoulder, "You'll understand things soon enough, there's also more I have to tell you, after I pick up your twin sister." said Eric, glancing at Shawn to see if he got the hint, Shawn stared back at him, "I've got a twin sister?" he asked with a questioning glance. Eric nodded and Shawn crossed his arms "We'll I'm glad your here to tell me these things!" he said sarcastically. Eric gave him a look and Shawn gave him a mischievous grin, "Your gonna have to get used to my sense of humor," he said.

The ship stopped at Stephanie's house, "Wait here," Eric said to Shawn. Eric went to the door, and rang the door bell. A young woman answered the door "Hello, can I help you?" she asked. "Is your mom their?" asked Eric. The woman looked at Eric for a few seconds," Have I meet you before?" she asked.  "You might have, can I come in?" said Eric. "Sure." she said gesturing for him to go into the kitchen, they walked into the room and Eric saw a middle aged woman reading the paper. "Mom there's someone here to see you." she said. The woman looked up from the paper and looked at Eric, "Jennifer can you leave us alone for while?" She nodded and went into the next room. "Eric, is that you?" she asked. Eric nodded and sat down in the chair next to her. "I can't believe it you've grown up so much, where is your father?" she said. Eric looked at her for a few minutes, "It's a long story, he just couldn't make it." he said. "All right, I'll go talk to her and explain some things, wait down here." she said. "Ok," Eric replied.

He watched as the woman went upstairs and down the hall. The woman turned into a room where Stephanie sat on her bed reading an Astronomy magazine, " Stephanie, there's something I have to tell you, you know I told you that your father is still alive?"  "Yeah." "You also have a brother that I forgot to mention..." "I have a brother?"  "You have two actually, and they are here to take you to Yavin 4." "Why Yavin 4, it's just a jungle moon?"  "Your father owns an academy there and he wants you to join it,"  "How can he just drop me off here and expect me to come back 10 years later!"  "Stephanie, he had good reasons, please you have to go!" "Will I see you again?" The woman sighed and seemed to have tears in her eyes, "Of course, as often as I can!" Stephanie hugged the woman and went downstairs she went into the kitchen where she saw Eric and Jennifer talking. Eric turned to see a girl with blond hair down to the middle of her back,

and eyes that he couldn't even tell the color of, it looked like a pale green, but kind of blue also with a tint of gray. The girl came up to him looking very shy and curious, she turned to the woman and whispered in her ear, "Are you sure about this?" she asked. The woman nodded her head, and told her that it was going to be ok. Eric smiled at her trying to make her more comfortable, "Come on Steph," he said. Stephanie gave him a shy half smile and followed him to the ship.

When they got into the ship the twins recognized each other right when they looked at each other and cried out at the same time.  "Shawn, your my brother, oh my god!" exclaimed Stephanie. "Steph's my sister?!" cried Shawn. Eric looked at them in surprise, "You two know each other?" said Eric. "Yeah, she's in my class." said Shawn. Eric sighed and sat down at the controls to the ship. "Fasten your crash webbing." he said. The twins sat down and fastened their crash webbing and leaned back as the ship took off and headed toward space.

                                                  Chapter 11
 

 Luke Skywalker sat up in his chair when he saw Eric's ship coming from earth. He came out of his hiding spot and headed toward the ship.

Once he got closer he turned on his weapons and got ready to beam them  up, but something came over him, a feeling that stopped him cold. It was like Luke had just woke up, Luke realized what he was doing and stopped the ship immediately, and shut down the laser power.

It took him a while to figure out what had happened but he remembered the drug that the  stormtroppers shoved down his throat, "That's it that's what turned me to the dark side," he whispered. Luke started the ship and  went after Eric, to go back to the jungle moon of Yavin 4.  Eric was about half way there when he turned to see his father coming behind him in his ship. "Artoo, turn the ship to light speed and hurry!" The little droid got to the computer and in a few seconds the ship was going top speed. "What's wrong Eric," asked Stephanie. "Dad's after us, we have to get out of here and quick!"  "Why should our dad be a threat?" she asked. Eric turned to her, "Sit down Steph, I've got a lot to tell you."  Stephanie sat down by Eric and looked at him, he could tell she was confused. "Shawn, come here," he said, "I have to tell both of you this." he told Stephanie. Shawn sat by the two of them, "So, what's going on?" he asked.  Eric took a deep breath.

"Our dad has turned to evil, and he was coming after you, that's why I came to get you, and that's why I was here alone." Eric looked at Shawn and went on, "Dad had to give you two up long ago, because the empire was looking for you, and if they found you they would have made you become evil so you can serve them. He sent me also, but I wasn't around because I escaped and went back to mom. Now that dad joined the enemy, he was leading the empire to you."  There was a long uncomfortable silence between them.

"Why did he go, if he was so good?" asked Shawn. "The pull of the dark side is strong, they tricked him into joining."  "What do you mean by pull?" asked Stephanie.  "The empire believes in the dark side of the force." he said.  "What is the force?" asked Shawn. "The force is an energy that surrounds us and penetrates us, it is the belief of a Jedi which you will become." "Why must we become Jedi?" " The galaxy needs you as Jedi so you can help the New Republic. " Everyone was quiet  and looked at each other for second, but a blast broke the silence. "It's the surviving stormtroppers!" said Eric looking out the window. "Go strap yourselves in, I'll take care of this."  Shawn sighed, and Stephanie looked at him, "I hope we can make it through all this," she said. The twins buckled their crash webbing and sat tight both nervous because of the enemy ships. Eric sat in a chair with a targeting computer and the weapon

controls in front. "Hang on," he said. The ships came in at full speed firing every chance they got. Eric fumbled with the controls and finally got the gun working, he sent coordinates into the computer and fired as the ships came near the outer hall of the ship, Eric kept shooting until only one was left, somehow he could not shoot it. Eric closed his eyes and sensed with his mind, "It's dad," he whispered. Eric sighed and turned to Artoo, he knew he couldn't kill his own father, so he decided that he should just get out of there. "Artoo, get the ship into light speed, I'll set the coordinates."

Luke watched as his son's ship went away, he knew that Eric didn't realize that he wasn't evil anymore, he used the computer to set the coordinates for Yavin 4 and put the ship on automatic control, he sighed and put the ship on light speed to catch up with Eric.
 
 

                                           Chapter 12
 

  On the moon all the Jedi students crowded around in hope that Eric would return soon, "Eric's been gone for a long time I hope he's all right," said Jaina with worry.
"He's ok Jaina, I just checked up on him, he should be home soon." said Jacen.
Jaina sighed with relief and Lowie let out a happy growl.  The students were loud, many of them filled with worry.  Jacen went ahead of the group and asked for silence, feeling everyone's concern he decided to tell them the info. "Everyone, I've checked up on Eric using the scanning computer, and I'm glad to say that he is all right and should be here soon." Everyone was silent and looked up toward the sky, and sure enough Eric's ship was coming into the world.

Jaina, Tenal Ka, and Lowie got everyone out of the way so that the ship could make a safe landing. The ship came down slowly onto the plat form, Eric unbuckled his restraining, and shut down the computer; it had been a month since he left the planet, and he was happy to be back. Shawn and Stephanie, jumped out of their seats and looked out of the window to see 100 Jedi students all crowded into a corner. Shawn looked at a temple surrounded by trees and jungle plants. "Is that the academy?" he asked. Eric came to the window to see what he was looking at, "Yes, that's the academy." he said.  "It looks like an old temple for pagan religions." said Stephanie. "Hey, maybe it was, then they fixed it up and made it an old fashioned academy." said Shawn.  "No, maybe it was used as a secret base that got abandoned and later got turned into an academy!" she said. Eric looked at her with astonishment. "What, I can't have an  imagination?" she asked. "No, it's not that, your little story was actually right." said Eric.

"Whoa, get a load of fortune teller Stephanie!" he said as they went off the ship. "Oh, yeah Shawn I know all and I see all," she said sarcasticly. Shawn laughed and Eric sighed and rolled his eyes. Jaina and Jacen came up to Eric and gave him a hug, "I'm so glad you made it back, we heard about you getting captured and feared for the worst," said Jaina. Eric smiled, "I'm glad to be back Jaina." Eric turned to his brother and sister, "Steph, Shawn, these are your cousins, Jaina and Jacen," he said pointing toward the older twins. Stephanie gave them a shy smile. Shawn merely greeted them since he was not sure what to say. Jaina looked at both of them smiling, trying to ease their shyness away. "Do you want to hear a joke?" he asked trying to ease the tension in his usual way. Jaina rolled her eyes, and Eric smiled shaking his head. "Sure," said Shawn. "Ok, what do you call a man who gives a raincor food?" he asked looking from one person to the other, Shawn shrugged, "I don't know, what," said Stephanie. "The appetizer!" said Jacen.  Jaina groaned, not only was it a stupid joke, but it was an old one.
 
 

Stephanie smiled and laughed a little, she was glad that he had a good sense of humor. Shawn laughed a little, and felt the tension slip away. Eric and his cousins led the young twins to their rooms. "This is your room Steph," he said. Stephanie looked around, the room was normal sized and looked kind of old fashioned, almost like a small room in a castle, she smiled and walked around the room while they lead Shawn to the room right next door. She was glad that she'd be next door to someone she knew, even though she was still not used to the idea that he was her brother.
 

                                                 Chapter 13
 

The next day Eric found his brother and sister with Jaina, she was showing them the technology of this galaxy. "Am I interrupting anything?" he asked with a grin on his face.

"Not really," said Jaina returning the grin. Jacen poked his head through the doorway "Do you guys want to see some animals?" he asked. Shawn shrugged and followed his sister and Jacen into the room. "This is the crystal snake," he said holding up a clear snake with scales that look like rainbows in the sun. "Wow!" said Shawn. Stephanie reached out and pet the creature, it felt rough on top but smooth on the bottom. "That's cool!" she said. Eric looked at all of them and smiled, "its time for the assembly, guys."  Shawn and Stephanie looked at him in confusion, but decided to follow them and see what it was for themselves. They came into a big meeting hall made from stone with white benches where everyone sat,  Shawn and Stephanie gasped at how many different aliens were there. Eric got up to say his speech for the day, when an alarm went off, "Stay here everyone, I'll be right back!" he said. The students watched in amazement as the teenager dashed out of the room. Everyone rushed to the doors to see what happened, not following Eric's order.

 Jaina and Jacen looked for another way out when they saw their friend Tenal Ka climbing up the wall with her rope, they ran after the young warrior and started climbing up with her, with Lowie following. Stephanie and Shawn stood still as if frozen, "Well, I guess up is the only way," said Stephanie. The twins followed them struggling to get up.  Jacen looked down and saw them coming up the wall, he reached toward them and lifted them up onto the roof one at a time. Stephanie followed her brother to the end of the roof and looked down. He saw Eric going toward a middle aged man with blond hair.  "Who's that," she asked. Jacen turned to the young twins, and Shawn could detect  some sadness on his cousins face. "That, is your father," he said. "Didn't he turn to evil?" asked Stephanie. Jacen nodded, "Eric's dead meat," said Shawn, shaking his head.

The Jedi watched the scene, eager to see what was happening. The Jedi below formed a group around the landing pad, and Shawn and Stephanie looked down at everyone both lost in their personal thoughts. Eric came up to his father and drew his lightsaber, "If you want to take over this academy, your going to have to go through me first!" he said. Luke raised his eyebrows, surprised to see his son's sudden bravery. "Eric, calm down, It's all right I've come back to the good side, I'm not going to hurt anyone." Eric looked at his father for a long time trying to decide weather to believe him. He closed his eye's half way in case he was being tricked and searched his father, to find out that there was no anger in him. He slowly opened his eyes all the way and looked into Luke's eyes, he let out a deep breath and smiled.

"Everyone, Master Skywalker is back to normal!" he announced. Luke smiled and gave Eric a quick embrace.

Jacen and Jaina climbed down the wall of the temple and ran to their uncle. Luke hugged them both and Eric motioned for Stephanie and Shawn to come down, the twins ran to him and Eric pushed them closer to their dad. "Are you sure he's ok now?" asked Stephanie. Eric looked at his sister with understanding, and knowledge, "It's all right, Steph, he's ok now, I'm sure of it." he said. Stephanie sighed and turned to her father with a suspicious look on her face, Shawn looked at his sister then at his father with a curious look in his eye. Luke looked at his younger kids, "Come here, it's all right," he

said. Eric watched the two go up to him, and smiled in contentment as his father talked to them about the force, and any topic he could to find out what kind of personality the two had. He led the other Jedi inside and told them to practice their everyday exercises, and went inside to practice his.

                                                        Chapter 14
 

  Later, at night he laid on top of the temple watching the stars and planets, when he sensed someone coming up to join him, it was his father. "This is a rather strange place to find you," he said with a grin. "Not really, you've just never saw me here before," said Eric with a sly smile. Luke raised one eyebrow and looked at Eric for a while, then gave him a warm smile back. "What have you been doing?" he asked. Eric shrugged, "Just a little star gazing." he said. Luke went over to the other end of the roof and sat down by his son, "You have grown much today, Eric.  I'm proud of you."  Eric smiled. "Thanks dad, that means a lot to me," said Eric.  His father gave him a smile, and turned away slowly, Eric could tell that he was troubled, he used the force to search his fathers feelings.
Eric automatically knew what was wrong, "Dad, it's ok. " he said. "You wouldn't have killed Shawn or Stephanie had you captured them."  Luke turned to his son and shook his head, "You don't know that, Eric. I hurt you, and I probably would have hurt them." Eric looked into his fathers eyes, surprised at the emotion in his words.

" You didn't kill me did you?" he asked morally. Luke sighed and met his son's gaze,
"I know about the Emperor intentions, Dad, and I knew that you couldn't bring yourself to do it. Don't blame yourself, you were under the Emperor's control."  Luke embraced Eric warmly, "You've really taught me something, son. You've taught me that you can learn many things from those younger than you." he said. The stars sparkled in the sky and from then on Eric knew that a bright new future was going to start, for everyone.
